Duties and responsibilities
a) Present and sell company products to current and potential clients.
b) Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to protect the number of contacts to be made each month.
c) Follow up on new leads/potential customers or clients and referrals resulting from field activity.
d) Identify sales prospects and contact them and other accounts as assigned.
e) Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
f) Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
g) Establish and maintain current client/customer and potential client/customer relationship.
h) Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
i) Manage account services through quality checks and other follow ups.
j) Identify and resolve client concerns.
k) Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-ups and adherence to goals.
l) Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered through field activities to appropriate company staff.
m) Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stocks.
n) Follow up for collection of payments.
Knowledge and skills requirements
a) Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally required through completion of high school.
b) Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create, compose and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
c) Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing positive
company image experience.
d) Work requires significant local travels to current and potential clients/ customers. This requires the possession.
e) Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel on weekends and/or evening work.
